What the OrangeHRM preset sets up

Files survive deploys and restarts. You can change the size in the form.
Deploy OrangeHRM in three steps
- Sign in Log in or sign up. New accounts can earn up to 15 € in credit.
- Open the preset Pick a project and a region. The form shows the sizes and the monthly cost. Deploy to Nodion ›
- Deploy Nodion creates the app and its resources, then starts the first deploy.
Open the installer to create the administrator and connect to MySQL. Use the host, database, user, and password from ORANGEHRM_DATABASE_HOST, ORANGEHRM_DATABASE_NAME, ORANGEHRM_DATABASE_USER, and ORANGEHRM_DATABASE_PASSWORD. There is no default password.
Run it like any other app
- Domains A default hostname with HTTPS works right away. Add your own domain on the Domains tab.
- Environment The preset sets the variables OrangeHRM needs. Change them on the Environment tab.
- Version The preset sets tag 5.9. Your app keeps it until you change the image on the Processes tab.
- Logs and metrics Every process has logs and metrics in the dashboard. See Applications.
OrangeHRM on Nodion: questions and answers
How do I deploy OrangeHRM on Nodion?
Sign in to Nodion, open the OrangeHRM preset and pick a project and a region. Nodion creates the app with a managed MySQL database and a 10 GB volume, sets the environment variables and starts the first deploy.
Is this the same as self-hosting OrangeHRM?
You get your own OrangeHRM instance in your Nodion project. The difference: Nodion runs the servers, so there is no machine of your own to install and maintain.
How much does it cost to run OrangeHRM on Nodion?
The starting setup costs about 11.50 EUR per month: App DS-G2-1GB, 1 GB RAM 4 EUR, MySQL DS-G2-1GB, 1 GB RAM 6 EUR, Volume 10 GB 1.50 EUR. Prices are net and billed per second. You can pick bigger sizes in the form.
What should I do after the first deploy?
Open the installer to create the administrator and connect to MySQL. Use the host, database, user, and password from ORANGEHRM_DATABASE_HOST, ORANGEHRM_DATABASE_NAME, ORANGEHRM_DATABASE_USER, and ORANGEHRM_DATABASE_PASSWORD. There is no default password.
Which version of OrangeHRM does Nodion deploy?
The preset sets the image orangehrm/orangehrm:5.9. Your app keeps that image tag until you change it on the app's Processes tab.
Can I use my own domain for OrangeHRM?
Yes. Every app gets a default hostname with HTTPS. Add your own domain on the app's Domains tab.
Where does OrangeHRM run?
In the region you pick: EU Central (Germany), US East and US West (United States) or APAC Central (Singapore). Build, registry and runtime stay in that region.
