Billing and credit
Usage-based billing, plus a one-time starting credit.
There is no monthly free tier. New accounts can claim15 € starting credit. No payment method required to start. Claim it during get startedor later under Account → Rewards.
Currency
Invoices are in EUR or USD. Some billing countries fix the currency. Otherwise you pick one under Billing. You can change it until the first invoice, then it stays.
Account details and tax
Set Individual or Company, address, and country. Company accounts in VAT countries can add a VAT ID. Fill the address (and a name, or a company name) before you add a payment method.
Payment
Add a card, SEPA direct debit, or PayPal. The default method is charged monthly for the previous month. Usage is metered (apps and databases down to the second).
What things cost
Live plan prices are on Pricing, in EUR and USD. High-level rates:
- Apps: Discovery shared CPU, or General Purpose dedicated vCPU.
- Databases: Discovery, General Purpose, or High Performance, with NVMe. A
-Lplan is the same compute with double the disk. - Object storage: Basic, Standard, or Premium, billed per GB-month.
- Volumes: €0.15 / GB / month.
- Outbound transfer: €0.005 / GB.
- Transactional email: €0.00025 per delivered message.
AI inference uses a prepaid wallet under AI Inference → Billing, not the monthly platform invoice. Support plans are listed on Pricing.
